The European Championships kick off on Friday 10 June and it promises to be a great tournament. Why not pick up some big prices in the lead up to the competition by placing a few bets on your favourite teams. England are currently 8/1, Italy 16/1 and Spain 5/1. It’s a big weekend for football with the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid taking centre stage. But perhaps the bigger game, in financial terms, is the Championship final between Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday which will determine which of those teams play in the Premiership next season. On Sunday it’s Barnsley v Millwall in the League One final. There are also a host of International friendlies to get stuck into. The action never stops!

Just a few loose ends to tie up as the major European leagues end their seasons. The Europa League final between Liverpool and Sevilla is on Wednesday 18 May at 7.45pm GMT and then towards the end of the month on Saturday 28 May at 7.45pm GMT, the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Get your bets on!

Both Sunderland and Norwich are in action tonight and both teams are trying to avoid relegation. Sunderland can secure their place in the top flight next season with victory over Everton and Norwich must win against Watford to give themselves a fighting chance. On what will prove to be an emotional night for players and fans, West Ham will play their last ever game at Upton Park tonight before their move to the Olympic Stadium. Facing them is a Manchester Utd. team needing a win to smooth their path into next seasons Champions League competition. It will be a special night at Anfield on Thursday with Liverpool hoping to make the Europa League final by beating Villareal. Not many teams turn over first-leg deficits (0-1) in Europe but you woudn’t bet against the Kop roaring The Reds to victory. Can Liverpool sink the ‘Yellow Submarine’? Kick off is at 8.05p.m. GMT.

Bayern v Atletico
Bayern Munich need to overturn a 1-0 deficit at the Allianz Arena tonight to have a hope of making the Champions League final. Bayern are obviously strong at home but Atletico are masters of holding on to a lead. With Diego Godin returning in central defence for Atletico, will Bayern find the space they need to score?
